Temporary residence authorization due to exceptional circumstances of collaboration with authorities, reasons of national security or public interest.

1. Authorization may be granted to people who collaborate with administrative, police, fiscal or judicial authorities in matters unrelated to the fight against organized networks, or when there are reasons of public interest or national security that justify the need to authorize their residence in Spain. . For these purposes, said authorities may urge the competent bodies to grant a residence permit to the person who is in any of these cases.
2. The General Directorate of Migration may grant authorization to collaborate with the competent labor administration to those people who prove to the Labor and Social Security Inspection, through any means of proof, that they are working in an irregular situation for a minimum period of six months in the last year, and that meet the requirements of article 64.2. of this regulation, with the exception of section a). This authorization will last for one year and will enable you to work as an employee or self-employed person. The request may be presented by the interested person or ex officio by the labor authority, and will incorporate the judicial or administrative resolution related to the infringement report issued by the Labor and Social Security Inspection.
